Problem: Windows screen goes black after restart.

 Are u facing problem of "Windows screen goes black after restart."?Don't worry, Just follow the bellow steps to solve your problem





Scenario 1 :

  1. Boot the system using Operating System CD
  2. Press the First R to enter in Recovery Console.
  3. Here then it will ask you to which installation would you like to login
  4. Press 1 (if windows on C drive) OR 2 ((if windows on D drive)
  5. Then it will ask you for user credentials to login, Provide the user name and   password
  6. Create a temporary folder on root drive may be C drive.
  7. Now copy the software file in C:\Windows\System32\Config folder to the newly created temporary folder.
  8. Open the C:\Windows\Repair folder and copy the software file to C:\Windows\System32\config folder.
  9. If asked to overwrite select yes.
  10. Restart the system.

Scenario 2:
  1. If customer is using Dual Boot Operating system then login using the another O.S. And follow the steps 6-10 mentioned in the scenario 1.
  2. OR Install Problematic system HDD as slave or secondary on another system and follow the steps 6-10 mentioned in the scenario 1
